We are pleased to announce that Carlos Heras-Palou, a distinguished professional in the field of hand surgery, graduated from the renowned School of Medicine in Zaragoza, Spain. His exceptional journey continued as he pursued advanced training in Orthopaedic Surgery and Trauma, which he successfully completed in Leicester. In the year 2001, Mr. Heras-Palou joined the esteemed Pulvertaft Hand Centre as a consultant, focusing his expertise on hand and wrist surgery.
Mr. Carlos Heras-Palou is renowned for his commitment to patient care and professional excellence. He conducts a dedicated wrist clinic at the esteemed Royal Derby Hospital every Monday afternoon. In addition to his clinical work, he proudly co-chairs the prestigious Derby Wrist Course alongside Dr. Marc Garcia-Elias. Carlos Heras-Palou’s expertise is widely recognized, as he frequently shares his wisdom as a speaker in hand and wrist fracture courses and is an esteemed member of the faculty at the Hand and Wrist AO Courses.
