Dr Pascal Hannemann

Pascal Hannemann, PhD, MD, is a trauma surgeon at the Department of Trauma Surgery at the Maastricht University Medical Centre, Netherlands.

The focus of his practice is the reconstruction of traumatic and post-traumatic wrist pathology, such as intra- and extra-articular malunion of the distal radius, distal radio-ulnar joint instability, and post-traumatic osteoarthritis. Hannemann obtained his doctorate in 2015 for his research on the diagnosis and treatment of scaphoid fractures. He is the (co-)author of over 20 international papers and several book chapters.

Furthermore, he is involved in the AO Foundation as an international faculty member and responsible for the national residents’ training program on hand and wrist surgery for the Dutch Society of Trauma Surgery.
